If you are not already aware, the drive to The Hamptons and Montauk is mostly on a one lane stretch that may take many hours coming from New York City or Western Long Island. Single engine helicopters do not fly in inclement weather and can only accommodate four passengers. If you need up to 6 passengers, a twin engine helicopter would be best for your flight. If you are interested in bringing more passengers, you may want to look into a private jet charter instead.
